3D printed Valentine’s Day chocolates: Valentine’s Day Bonbon

Believe it or not, contemporary brands are even innovating in the world of Valentine’s Day bonbons. Sugar Lab, the Los Angeles-based “Digital Bakery”, presents two deliciously romantic chocolate flavors that have been 3D printed with their proprietary patented technology. Consumers can choose between Peppermint Mocha Valentine’s Bonbons and Love Hurts Glitter Skulls. Each is available in a set of six.

Valentine’s Day mint bonbons feature a mint-flavored crust that has a “texture of compressed cotton candy” and the sweets are filled with a rich mocha chocolate ganache. On the other hand, the skulls flaunt notes of passion fruit. Each unit can be placed in a glass of champagne, for example, and when melted, the skulls leave “a wonderful edible sparkle”.
