Adidas to investigate complaints Kanye West showed employees porn

“It is not currently clear whether the accusations in the anonymous letter are true,” Adidas said in a statement. “However, we take these allegations very seriously and have made the decision to immediately launch an independent investigation into the matter to address the allegations.”

In a Rolling Stone report, published Tuesday, former employees who worked with fashion label Ye’s Yeezy accused the rapper of disruptive workplace behavior they said Adidas leadership refused to confront. The magazine said it interviewed more than two dozen former Yeezy and Adidas employees.

These people alleged that Ye engaged in provocative and intimidating behavior and sex with employees, especially women, over the course of a decade. Former employees alleged, among other incidents, that Ye played porn at staff meetings and showed potential and current team members a video and explicit photos of Kim Kardashian, as well as sex tapes of himself. Ye and Kardashian married in 2014 and filed for divorce early last year.

Several former senior employees reportedly sent a letter to Adidas executives on Tuesday calling for action from company leaders, accusing him of ignoring Ye’s “aggressive behavior toward women” and the “toxic and chaotic environment” he had created.

Adidas, under pressure to cut ties with the designer after multiple incidents of hate speech, ended its partnership with Ye last month.

Ye has also been left out by most of his other professional partners, including a talent agency and other brands like Balenciaga and Gap.
