Airflow-optimized GPUs: Extreme Air Amp

ZOTAC launched its first product in NVIDIA’s 40-series lineup, the GeForce RTX 4090 AMP Extreme AIRO. This is a high-end GPU powered by NVIDIA’s Ada Lovelace technology, which delivers nearly twice the performance and power efficiency of the company’s previous 30-series range. This GPU features 16,384 CUDA cores, 24GB of GDDR6X memory, and a boost clock of 2580MHz. In addition, the peak power consumption of the device is only 450 watts.

The name itself of AMP Extreme AIRO, and the most attractive feature, is cooling. Zotac specifically designed the chassis and heatsink to be optimized for maximum air flow and, as a result, the lowest temperatures possible with air cooling. The heatsink runs the length of the device, and is effectively cooled by three 102mm controllable fans. The card also benefits from FreeZE Fan Stop technology which saves energy and reduces noise levels when the card is under a low load.

ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 4090 AMP Extreme AIRO is available for pre-order now from the ZOTAC website.
