Ayman al-Zawahiri was the “right hand” of Osama bin Laden

Fox News reporter Madeleine Rivera said Ayman al-Zawahiri was Osama bin Laden’s “right hand” and his death would be a “huge blow” to the al-Qaeda terrorist organization.

Al-Zawahiri took over the leadership of al-Qaeda after bin Laden was killed in 2011.

“He certainly wasn’t as charismatic as bin Laden, but he was clearly the leader of this organization,” she told Sky News Australia.

“Just a few days ago, he was posting videos calling for attacks against Americans and their allies.”
