d2r movies: Netflix signs multi-year agreement with Raj & DK for all future projects of d2r movies

Netflix has signed a multi-year, multi-project deal with filmmaking duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, better known as Raj & DK, for all of their new projects, including films and web series, under their D2R Films banner.

Raj & DK are best known for their critically acclaimed series, The Family Man, on rival platform Amazon Prime Video, and Raj and DK are already the runners and directors of Netflix’s upcoming crime-thriller series, “Guns & Gulaabs,” a story of love and innocence. Set in the underworld, a nostalgic tale of all kinds of firsts, from first love to first murder.

The duo also produced last year’s hugely successful Telugu movie, ‘Cinema Bandi’, which is currently streaming on Netflix.

With the deal closed, all new projects the duo developed and made will be available on Netflix, but it won’t include projects already announced with other broadcasters, including Shahid Kapoor-starrer “Farzi,” which will air on Prime Video, and back-to-back seasons of Existing series.
