Euro 2022: England beat Germany and was watched by a record 17.4 million viewers

England’s victory in the 2022 European Football Championship over Germany marked the peak of BBC One’s 17.4 million viewers, making it the most watched women’s football match on UK TV.

The 2-1 win in extra time is also the most watched program in the UK so far in 2022.
