Hundreds arrested following anti-crowd protests in Moscow

Hundreds were arrested in Moscow, and hundreds more across Russia, on September 21, in demonstrations against the mobilization of reserves announced by President Vladimir Putin. This footage, recorded by Sota Agency, shows a large police presence during a protest on Arbat Street in the city center. Several violent confrontations between police and protesters were shown. According to the figures for the Arbat region of Moscow, published by OVD-Info, five demonstrators were arrested during the events of Wednesday. OVD-Info said at least 536 people were arrested in various protests across Moscow.
