Jio news: Reliance Jio and DigiBoxx partner for cloud storage

In a press release on Tuesday, the company said that Jio Platforms, a digital services subsidiary of Reliance Industries, will collaborate with India’s file storage and sharing platform DigiBoxx to develop storage solutions and meet the cloud standardization needs of Jio’s current and future consumer base.

In addition to the currently available 20GB of storage space, users can now take advantage of an additional 10GB of space on their DigiBoxx by registering via the JioPhotos app. Jio customers will be able to store their personal data by enabling automatic synchronization and view everything on Jio Set-top Box.

“We are excited to have DigiBoxx, a storage platform made in India, join us on this journey because we believe its offerings are secure, fast, intuitive and world-class,” said Kieran Thomas, CEO of Jio Platforms Ltd.

India-based DigiBoxx founded in 2020 is a digital file storage and digital asset management platform for individuals and businesses.

“We are very excited about our new partnership with Jio Platforms. This alliance will help us bring our technology offerings to a new group of digitally active consumers. We firmly believe we have a game-changing service and platform,” said Arnab Mitra, CEO of DigiBoxx. And no one can match or compete with it, given the storage space we offer.”
