In my roundup of clean energy misinformation, I’ve seen one argument over and over again.
Wind turbines kill birds.
While this is true, it is missing an important bit of context:
Fossil fuel power plants kill 35 times more birds per GWh than wind turbines do.

OFAC Guidance on Implementing a Maximum Price Policy for Crude Oil from the Russian Federation of Origin US Treasury. The “administrator” part is the same as we mentioned earlier: Level 1 are the parties that have direct access to price information such as brokers and traders. Other parties can rely on their testimony as long as there is no reason to suspect funny business. Presumably the mixed oil doesn’t make it un-Russian except for the residue. The ban is meant to extend to everyone involved, such as ship owners, insurance companies, customs brokers and national ship registries. Nothing on enforcement or penalties.
The European Commission unveiled its proposal for a cap on the price of natural gas. It is, how would I put it, bizarre.
The cap is set at €275 per MWh. But, and this is the important point, this price must be breached for two consecutive weeks.
So it is a cover designed not for cover.

Ukraine War Day #272: Why Cripple a Nuclear Power Plant? Mystery explanation freak collapse (guurst)
Defeating Russia’s CEPA costs peanuts. Steven:
This fake ad might be worth linking to. Your previous comments emphasize that there is little/no desire in the US for peace, and that a lot of money is being spent on the war party.
Obviously, Ukrainian lives don’t count in the cost-benefit analysis either, according to authors like this one.
Major British war industry company BAe Systems is one of the sponsors of CEPA hosting this nonsense, along with Lockheed et al. So (amazingly) is Mercedes. The war is about money because the business looks so real.
