How to recover deleted messages on iPhone

Remember, when you access an old backup, you reset your iPhone to the old settings. This can lead to some issues. If you’re willing to take that risk, follow these steps to see if you have a backup available:

go to the Settings.

select your apple id.

Faucet iCloud > space management > Backups.

Then, follow these steps to use that backup to restore your phone:

head for Settings > general > Re-Set.

Choose Erase all content and settings.

Faucet Restore from iCloud Backup.

sign in using your Apple ID and tap Choose a backup.

Your phone will revert to its previous version. Now you can start searching the ancient texts.

This method will not work if you have never backed up your iPhone to iCloud.
