Media platform launch sounds: launch sound

YouTube makes its own intro launch sound similar to Tudum’s signature voice revealing Netflix. A new update has already been seen on the YouTube app running on the TV, which launches every time the app is launched. The platform delves into how sound is built with the help of Antfood, an audio studio for brands.

It works to create a voice that is “human”, “connected”, “expressive”, and “story-driven”. It does this by blending the layers of sounds together. It didn’t make a sound yet and was simply referring to it as the YouTube sound. The media company noted that audio and animation will appear “in more places over the next few weeks and months.”
