Passwordless secure management services: support passkey

1Password recently announced that it will roll out passkey support to its customers early next year. This will help the users to log in to their apps and websites without the need for any passwords. It’s completely passwordless through the authentication process, which can be daunting for a company that specializes in it.

Passkey is a passwordless login technology developed by the FIDO Alliance. This allows users to replace traditional passwords with their device authentication – this includes a phone password or Face ID. Basically this provides greater security and protection as there is no password to get or give out by mistake. 1Password calls its version of the technology “Universal Sign On.”
