PH Economic Team to engage investors in the Eurozone

The Ministry of Budget and Management (DBM) announced that the country’s economic team will again collaborate with European business leaders, bankers and investors to discuss plans and new investment opportunities from January 23-27.

Organized by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas in partnership with the British Embassy in the Philippines, Philippine Embassies in Europe, and banks such as HSBC, UBS, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley, PEB Europe will serve as a venue for the country’s economic team to discuss with market leaders about potential investments and opportunities in the Philippines.

Finance Minister Benjamin Diokno will deliver the keynote message while Budget Minister Amina Pangandaman is expected to present priority expenditures in the national budget for fiscal year 2023 to investors and how they will achieve the goals set out in the Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028.

Philippine Central Bank Governor Felipe Medalla and Minister of Social and Economic Planning Arsenio Balizcan will discuss the country’s economic performance and outlook.

Other important economic briefing discussions are also organized, such as financial education sessions with Philippine communities, informational interviews, and engagement with credit rating agencies including Moody’s Analytics and Fitch Ratings.
