Here are some of the sneakers we’re looking forward to in ’23 with out-of-the-box collaborations and special edition releases

from 2022 was a very big year for sneakers. With these kinds of major releases and hype that just won’t die, the 2023 releases should be filled with excitement and fire. Major sneaker companies such as Nike, Adidas, New Balance and others are teasing their coveted collaborations and special editions aimed at brightening up 2023, bringing more hype than the previous year.

Jarritos x Nike SP Dunk Low

After a successful 2022 that saw a number of collaborations and inline colors vying for the best debut, Nike SB is coming off strong this year and is ready to continue its collaborative efforts with unexpected partners, as iconic Mexican soft drink Jarritos gets its own SB Dunk Low is in 2023. Referring mostly to the fan-favorite mandarin flavor, the silhouette has been changed to a hemp-covered low top with cut-out elements that reveal more shades of orange. The SB Dunk features branding on the heel tab and along the lateral heel overlay, securing spots for one of the best SB Dunks of late.

The release date of this sneaker has not been confirmed yet, so fans will have to wait until the shoe company announces the official launch date.

Air Jordan 1 High 85 “Black White”

The Air Jordan 1 High 85 Annual Edition is the release everyone has been waiting for. In 2023, other colors of the OG Air Jordan 1 will receive the “85” treatment. With the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Panda’ being hailed as a ’22 shoe, the 2023 OG AJ 1 will arrive in a black and white panda-like colorway.

The Air Jordan 1 High 85 Black White is scheduled to be released on February 15th. And it’ll be available at Nike as well as select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, in stores and online.

new balance 550 lunar new year

With the Lunar New Year soon to come, several notable shoe brands have taken advantage of the end of December 2022 to tease their collections for the occasion. Despite the fact that the North American organization has yet to unveil the project, several Asian sites have begun promoting a recently appeared, mostly white, pair of New Balance 550 sneakers as a “Lunar New Year” pair. The sneaker upper retains a tried-and-true arrangement of smooth, perforated leather throughout, with contrasting hues of off-white and pale beige in the midfoot, collar, and lower heel areas. The tongue and back of the shoe feature the New Balance maroon logo, evoking concepts of happiness, success and good fortune.

It’s likely to keep rocking through mid-2023 with its conceptual design and theme and warm color that blends into any outfit.

Premium Goods x Nike Air Force 1 Low

According to sneaker news, it was revealed that Premium Goods, a menswear store in Houston, will be making its own Nike Air Force 1 earlier in 2022. We didn’t know the retailer had so much in store for everyone this year since Then it was recently reported that the aforementioned collaboration would be followed by a brighter, but still clearly related variant. The highly anticipated Premium Goods x Nike Air Force 1 has beading on both the Swoosh and heel tab. The design of the shoe is true to the store’s name and its quilted, star-studded midpanel, and the upper is made of high-quality suede leather that’s all a nice shade of cream.

The company’s release date has not been disclosed, but we could see this sausage in the first half of 2023.

Adidas Forum Low ‘Off-White’

Over the past year or two, the Adidas Forum Low has become one of the most popular vintage basketball shoes of all time, making its way into sneaker collections all over the world. Originally produced in 1984, the German sportswear company will be fully operational in 2023, with colors like the recently unveiled Adidas Forum Low “Off White Core Black” expected to debut soon. This low forum is distinguished by an off-white color and a smooth leathery structure. Ankle strap and toebox eyelets provide maximum breathability. The sidewalls have Three Stripe branding in black, and the side panel has a finely embossed Trefoil logo to complete the sleek, aesthetic.

Released January 1 exclusively in women’s sizes, the adidas Forum Low Off White Core Black W will be available across adidas and select retailers worldwide.

Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG ‘Olive’

With the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG ‘Olive’, the Cactus Jack craze will continue into this new year. It includes the same leather and suede construction as the world-famous “Reverse Mocha,” but with a monochromatic black and white color scheme. The shoe’s name derives from the leafy “olive” with the signature Swoosh back swooping through the sidewall.

Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG ‘Olive’ in expanded size is expected to be released on March 25th.
