Startups: Startup mission to conduct a free workshop for high net worth individuals looking to become angel investors

Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) is conducting a free workshop on August 13th for High Net Worth Persons (HNWIs) who aspire to become angel investors as an additional asset. The event, which will be run by experienced venture capitalists and successful investors, will take place at Startup Mission’s Integrated Startup Complex in Kalamasiri in association with the Headstart Network Foundation.

The event will be led by investor Nidhi Sarraf, who is the co-founder and CEO of Key Ventures, a fundraising advisory firm with experience in raising seed capital from Series A to Series D for early stage growth startups.

“Allowing by invitation only, potential participants can apply through. The workshop, which aims to answer various questions and doubts from potential angel investors, can help build a culture around startup investments in Kerala,” the organizers said in a statement.

The event is taking place as part of a larger “Startup Saturday – Funding and Investments” conference, where 250 founders, entrepreneurs and ecosystem enablers are expected to gather to learn more about financing and investments.

Headstart is a non-profit organization with 15 years of supporting entrepreneurs and early stage startups from all over the country.

It works with government organizations such as Startup India, StartupTN, Kerala Startup Mission, Niti Ayog and BIF, along with other corporate organizations such as AWS and Meta to enable startup ecosystems.

KSUM is the nodal agency of the Kerala government for the development of entrepreneurship and incubation activities in the state.
