Brett Goldstein, who won two Emmys for his role as AFC player Roy Kent in Richmond, joked that it would be an opportunity to bring his character’s on-screen feud with Jimmy Tartt to the virtual world.
“I’m looking forward to hitting my nephew in a match with me as Roy Kent playing Jimmy Tart. He’s going to be mad,” the actor said.
Fifa was launched in 1993, by EA Sports. Most real world soccer teams are available to players.
The titular character Sudeikis will be chosen as the manager of AFC Richmond, but also for other teams.
Likewise, fans will be allowed to choose or create a different manager to take control of AFC Richmond.
The game will feature famous characters from the series, including Kent, Tart, Sam Obisania and Dani Rojas, as well as Richmond’s home ground, Nelson Road.
