The ‘great love’ the Queen had for Scotland was ‘reciprocated’

John McTernan, political commentator and former advisor to Tony Blair and Julia Gillard, says that Queen Elizabeth II’s great love for Scotland has been reciprocated by the public.

It comes after the Queen’s coffin arrived at St Giles’ Cathedral for a prayer and meditation service.

“The Queen loved Scotland, she loved Balmoral, she would spend all September there and Prince Philip would have a barbecue whatever the weather,” McTernan told Sky News Australia.
