(Eagle News) – The Philippine peso fell to a new record low against the US dollar at P57.43 on Friday, September 16th.
The previous lowest close of the peso was recorded on September 8 when the peso fell to 57.18 pesos per US dollar.
According to data from the Bankers Association of the Philippines (BAP), intraday trading has seen the peso fall to P57.44 against the dollar.
It settled at P57.43 during the close of the trading day. On Thursday, September 15th, the peso closed to P57.16 against the dollar.
