“Tomorrow could be the most dangerous day of this century”: Bolt

Tomorrow could be the most dangerous day of this century, says Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

“US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who is second in line to take over as president if he dies, has confirmed that she will fly to Taiwan tomorrow,” Bolt said.

Taiwan is an island off China, which is a democracy. But the Chinese dictatorship says it is in fact a breakaway province, a Chinese territory.

Bolt said the Chinese military would “act” if Pelosi visited the island nation.

“In fact, China conducted live-fire exercises near Taiwan, and on Sunday sent one of its aircraft carriers from the south, apparently towards Taiwan,” he said.

“US warships are now standing behind Taiwan to provide protection.”

Bolt discussed the issue with Australian North Asia reporter Will Glasgow.
