Earlier this month, Twitter told advertisers that its daily user growth had reached an “all-time high” after Musk’s acquisition of the company even as several advertisers left the platform amid internal chaos.
According to a company document obtained by The Verge, Twitter’s monetizable daily user (mDAU) growth accelerated to more than 20% following Musk’s acquisition.
According to the report, Twitter has added more than 15 million mDAU, “passing the quarter-billion mark.”

Meanwhile, American author Stephen King poked fun at Twitter CEO Musk by calling him a “terrible fit for Twitter.”
“I think Elon Musk is a visionary. He almost single-handedly changed the way Americans think about cars. I have a Tesla and love it. However, he’s been a great fit for Twitter. He seems to make it as he goes along,” King tweeted.
Musk responded to King’s tweet by saying, “Suggestions are welcome, Mr. (tag emoji).”
He followed it up with a tweet that read, “Stephen King is one of the most creative people on earth. Although I may not agree with everything he says, I actually want to hear it.”
