UK ambulances treat the Queen’s queues

Medics have treated more than 700 people as they queued to see Queen Elizabeth II lying in state.

More than 275 mourners have been treated by St. John’s Ambulance Service – 39 of them have been taken to hospital.

Cold temperatures at night are one of the main causes of illness, due to the line’s proximity to the Thames.
