‘Very clear messages’ to liberals to ‘better reflect modern Australia’

Shadow Foreign Secretary Simon Birmingham said there were “very clear messages” from the Liberal Party’s federal election loss to “better reflect modern Australia”.

Birmingham said some of the lessons of losing the election have to do in part with the climate.

“It’s also about making sure the candidates and the party room better reflect modern Australia,” he told Sky News Australia.

“Peter Dutton is good and really understands that.”
