An Argentine couple won the World Tango World Cup champion on Saturday in Buenos Aires.
Constanza Vito and Ricardo Estrada won first place in the Tango class.
Cynthia Palacios and Sebastian Bolivar won the tango class in the living room.
Five hundred and sixty competing pairs participated in the tournament.
In Saturday’s final, an international jury selected the winners from among 40 pairs who competed in the salon category and 20 pairs in the theater category.
Tango, a musical genre that includes dance, music, poetry and song, was declared an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2009.
