The activists had completed a two-day trek from Kobles to Davos, where they staged an authorized protest.
Banners reading “Tax the rich, save the climate” and “Global economic failure” were displayed in front of the 1,500 business leaders – including representatives of oil companies BP, Chevron and Saudi Aramco – who attended the opening of the meeting on Monday.
