We should apply “a great deal of scrutiny” to the government’s IR bill

Opposition Leader Peter Dutton says we have to apply “a lot of scrutiny” to the government’s Industrial Relations Bill.

“Every freelancer has said this process is quite rushed,” Mr Dutton told Sky News Australia.

He said David Pocock and other independents recognize that “there is a very large negative impact on small businesses across the economy.”

Bargaining arrangements between multiple employers are just the beginning of this bad bill.

“The bill must be voted on.”
